1. फास्टैग क्या है?

FASTag is a device that uses Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology to enable automatic toll payments directly from a prepaid or savings account linked to it. It is affixed on the vehicle’s windscreen and allows seamless passage through toll plazas.

2. फास्टैग कैसे काम करता है?

FASTag works using RFID technology. When a vehicle with FASTag approaches a toll plaza, the RFID reader scans the tag, deducts the applicable toll amount from the linked account, and the boom barrier opens automatically without stopping the vehicle.

You can recharge your IOB FASTag online through the IOB FASTag portal, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, UPI, debit card, credit card, or other channels supported by Indian Overseas Bank.

12. अगर मेरा आईओबी फास्टैग खो जाए या खराब हो जाए, तो मुझे क्या करना चाहिए?

If your IOB FASTag is lost or damaged, immediately contact Indian Overseas Bank’s customer support to block the tag and request a replacement. A nominal replacement fee may be applicable.

13. मैं अपना आईओबी फास्टैग बैलेंस और ट्रांज़ैक्शन हिस्ट्री कैसे चेक करूँ?

You can check your FASTag balance and transaction history through the IOB FASTag portal. You can also get your IOB FASTag balance through an SMS by just giving a missed call to 7799008082. Additionally, SMS alerts may be sent by the bank for FASTag transactions.

14. क्या आईओबी फास्टैग का उपयोग करने से जुड़े कोई डिस्काउंट या लाभ हैं?

Indian Overseas Bank may offer cashback, discounts on toll charges, or promotional benefits from time to time for FASTag users. Please check the bank’s website or contact customer support for ongoing offers.

15. अगर मुझे अब अपने आईओबी फास्टैग की ज़रूरत नहीं है, तो क्या मुझे रिफ़ंड मिल सकता है?

Yes, Indian Overseas Bank provides a refund process for unused FASTags as per the closure request given by Customer through IOB Customer portal or any nearest Branch. Customers are required to follow the bank prescribed refund procedure and completing formalities as per policy.

16. अगर मेरा आईओबी फास्टैग टोल प्लाज़ा पर काम न करे, तो मुझे क्या करना चाहिए?

If your IOB FASTag does not work at a toll plaza, please contact Indian Overseas Bank’s customer support for assistance. They will help troubleshoot the issue and ensure proper functioning of your FASTag. You may also contact the NHAI helpline number 1033 for addressing NETC FASTag complaints at the toll plaza level.

17. अगर मेरे फास्टैग का बैलेंस कम हो जाए, तो क्या होगा?

If your FASTag balance is insufficient to cover the toll charges, the transaction may fail and you may be required to pay the toll in cash or may face penalties. It is advisable to maintain adequate balance in your FASTag account.

18. इंडियन ओवरसीज बैंक में फास्टैग में न्यूनतम रिचार्ज राशि कितनी है?

The minimum recharge amount through digital channels for IOB FASTag is Rs. 200/- at present.

19. फास्टैग के लिए केंद्रीकृत हेल्पलाइन नंबर क्या है?

The centralised helpline number for FASTag is 1033, which can be used for addressing NETC FASTag complaints at the toll plaza level.

20. क्या आईओबी में फास्टैग के लिए कोई वॉलेट लिमिट है?

Currently the FASTag wallet limit is as follows: Monthly wallet usage for KYC Customers does not exceed Rs.2,00,000/- and Min KYC Customers does not exceed Rs. 10,000/-
