Q1. Who can apply for the scheme?
Ans: Agriculturists/ Farmers who are owner cultivators, tenant farmers, oral lessees & sharecroppers engaged in Agriculture & allied activities.
Q2. What is the nature of advance?
Ans: Short term advance
Q3. What is maximum quantum of loan?
Ans: Maximum Loan amount per borrower- Rs. 10 Lacs, irrespective of number of loans.
Q4. What is the repayment period under the scheme?
Ans: Loan to be repaid within a period of 6 months as bullet payment - both principal and interest due for payment at the end of the term.
Q5. What is the processing charge for availing loan under the scheme?
Ans: The applicable processing charge is 0.15% of loan amount with minimum of Rs.150/-
Q6. What are the key highlights of the scheme?
Ans:
- Higher per gram rate
- Lower Interest rate
- Lower processing charge
- No security delivery charges
- Lower Appraiser fee.

Q1. What is the objective of the scheme?
Ans: The objective of the scheme is to provide Credit to all Fishery and its related activities.
Q2. Who are avail loan under the scheme?
Ans: Individual/ Proprietorship firms, companies engaged in Fisheries sector, Fisheries Development Corporations, SHGs/ JLGs Fisheries co-operatives, Fisheries Federations, Entrepreneurs and private firms Fish famer producers organizations/ companies .
Q3. What is the purpose of the scheme?
Ans: Term loan & need based working capital for the below mentioned activities:
(i) Marine Fisheries - Fishing boats
(ii) Marine Fisheries - Deep Sea fishing vessels
(iii) Inland Fisheries
(iv) Fish processing & Other activity
Q4. What is the nature of advance?
Ans: Term Loan & Working capital limits (Fund Based & Non-Fund Based)
Q5. What is the minimum and maximum loan amount that can be availed under the scheme?
Ans: Minimum Above Rs.10.00 lakhs and Maximum Rs.10.00 Cr
Q6. What are the security requirements?
Ans: Prime Security: Hypothecation/ mortgage charge on fixed assets and hypothecation charge on current assets created out of bank finance.
Collateral Security: Mortgage of Immovable property (SARFAESI compliant) & any other security acceptable to Bank.
Q7. What is the maximum holiday period and loan repayment period under the scheme?
Ans: Holiday Period: Maximum 24 months depends on the activities undertaken in IOB MATSYA SAMRIDHI scheme.
Repayment Period: Maximum 12 years based on the activities undertaken in IOB MATSYA SAMRIDHI scheme.
Q8. Any other special benefit to the customer?
Ans: Yes, If the value of collateral security is more than 100%, a ROI concession of 0.50% can be extended.
